Locks QARA 36 is a medium viscosity mineral oil, specially formulated on high quality solvent refined paraffinic base oil with additives to give an accelerated quenching rate. It can achieve the hardness, which could not be obtained by straight mineral oils. It protects the component from cracking, even at the junction of the portion with different thickness. The additives present in the oil are stable over a wide range of temperature and will not dissociate or break down. QARA 36 performs excellent anti-oxidation and thermal stability. The optimum bath temperatures are 20℃-80℃.
